Cahoot users: standing orders / transfers question

Do any fellow users of Cahoot's current account services have the same problem as me?

If I try and setup a regular transfer of funds from my current account to my Cahoot savings account, the online bank system does this:

(1) I create a future transfer and confirm it.
(2) the Cahoot system creates this future transfer and a replica standing order...

When I asked Cahoot about this, they stated that transfers were only to be used for immediate (same day) transfer of funds. And that as I had future dated the transfer (which their system allows), they treat it as a BACS payment request which their system processes like a standing order... and this takes 4 working days to transfer the funds (even between Cahoot accounts!) :mad:

Am I missing something here? There seems to be no way to setup a regular (monthly) transfer of funds from my current account to my savings account. Cahoot call centre staff say that I have to login each month and create an immediate transfer... which I can't believe.

To be honest the Cahoot application is not the most flexible and what you have experienced doesn't really doesn't surprise.

Given the ease of actually making the transfer, for me, since I log on every day anyway, setting up a manual transfer isn't the end of the world.

However, what would be wonderful would be if you could download statements onto my PC.......
