you should have left it in your bank earning you some interest :)
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
  • Card issuers have six months to lodge a chargeback claim, so be prepared for it to go any time in the next half year.

hopefully it will not be reversed for 90 days.. then its yours :)

Nope, a claim for fraudulent use can be made for months, in fact as long as the credit card companies allow.

  • I had this a couple of years ago for a laptop i sold, for £400 i left it in my paypal account for well over 6 months and in the end forgot about it, a year after the transaction it was still there so i spent it, ALL OF IT :D
If it doesn't fit, force it; if it breaks, it needed replacement anyway

A paypal chargeback can be started any time up to 45 days after payment. However a claim for fraudulent use of card can be made for as long as a credit card company allows. There have been reports on here of that being around 6 months, but it could well be longer.

i rang paypal and she said basically didn't have a clue. she said that its not something they have a procedure for and she's never had anybody call up like i did. she did say to keep it in my paypal account. i think she said that because i said i'm a student who will probably spend it.

Speaking to most people though they are saying its not my problem, it's not for me to go chasing around to give the money back. I think i'll move it to my account and just pay some of my fees off, save me paying more interest then when or if they want it back, up my student loan again.

Leave it in your bank account incase paypal reverse it and put your paypal acct down that amount (at which point just transfer it back in) and hope you get to keep it!
