i just thought they threw petals and from reading what everyone else puts really. some flowergirls can be really young to carry flowers.......

You beat me to it....17 years ago my friend's 5 year old niece carried a bear wearing 'her' dress (even had it's own circle of flowers on it's head). She now has that teddy with her at uni

Ill always remember at a family wedding the flower girl was 4 (ish) and walked up the aisle with her basket of flowers but didn't sprinkle them. When she got the the top the mother of the bride whispered to her ('you havent sprinkled any darling'). She turns around and goes 'oops, sorry' (loud enough for us all to hear) and dumps all of them in a pile right there

i'm having two adult bridesmaids and two 5 year old flowergirls/ bridesmaids when i said "your mummys are having these" they both went we want those too! so that is what they are having! haha x0

And forgot to mention, our flower girls are having mini bouquets.
As we're having tulips they only have like 5 flowers in theirs

I'm making my own sparkly wands to fit with the colour scheme and toying of putting a single foam rose in the centre but not quite decided on that one yet....plenty of time to change my mind may times!
