has anyone used one of these or currently own one?

Just wondering what they are actually like and if they are any good? whats the battery and charge life like on them? read a few reviews on sites but getting mixed feedback from them,

cheers :)

  • My sister has just bought one of those and absolutely raves about it! No mention of how long the charge lasts or such like, but she loves it so much she uses it every day.
From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!

We have an iRobot Roomba and my wife loves it.

Don't expect it to cope with heavy duty muck or pet hair and it will need emptying every session (easy enough). It will not completely replace a conventional vacuum cleaner but it will reduce the number of times you need to get one out. Because of the low height it will clean under things which would be difficult with a conventional cleaner.

The charge lasts plenty long enough to clean the house. There is a docking station which makes recharging simple. It's easier if there is a spare room or place you can leave the docking station out.

My sister's got a roomba and loves it but I think they're just an overpriced novelty. I'd rather get the vacuum out and do a room in half the time.

    LOL! That's a good one.
When I was 5, my dad told me that the ice-cream van only played songs when it's out of ice-cream. Cheek!
