I vow not to use my washing machine as much if nothing else!
That sounds exactly like what the utility companies have been getting away with over the past few years.0 -
Have you had a look at a comparison site to see if you could switch supplier for a better deal?0

If you give your actual unit consumption figures rather than total costs, then more meaningful replies could be given.
How much for each utility? How do you heat your flat (Gas CH?)No free lunch, and no free laptop

Seems about right to me. I have a 2 bed flat, am out all day at work weekdays, and pay £63 per month for gas & electric.0

Lucky you, mine is double that a year!
You have a very cheap bill

Well I find my bill really confusing, but here's what it says about my consumption midMarch-midJune (so 3 months):
675kWh elec used
2700kWh gas used
?? Does that sound reasonable?!
You need a phd to understand all this!
Mortgage£148,725 Student loan£13,050 HSBC loan£12,221
AprGC:£/£3200 -
You need to total your consumption over a full year, as March-June will be relatively high, as you will still have had the gas CH on for most of that period.
Typical annual consumption for 2 b/r flat would be around 15,000 kWh for gas and 4,000 kWh for electricity.
Your usage and bills seem low.No free lunch, and no free laptop
