  • I have found it for £215 including delivery. I understand its not a huge saving but seeing as you get a free 5 year warranty from the manufacturer worth £74 it could make you save a lot more in the long term.

    Try this:

We've got a smaller non upright one with the hepa filters - works a treat still going strong after a real good hammering during my house renovations!

    Thanks

My advise is buy a Sebo X4 Extra, they cost abou £249 but you should be able to get one for £199 on the web.

The Sebo wipes the floor with the Dyson
  • My mother in law runs a cleaning company and says that Dyson are rubbish! don't know if that helps! I think she has about 8 vacs in her house. One is Vax, one is Electrolux, one is a Henry... don't know about the rest...! but there are no dysons...!!!

  • I have the purpel dyson with the ball ithink its a dc15 I cannot fault it, I have had dysons for the last few years and this one was actually sent ot me as a replacement when my old one gave up the ghost completely. I phoned up Dyson and they didn't make the part I needed anymore so they gave me a new one to trial and keep. At the time the dc15 wasn't in the shops, so I got the latest model all for the price of a call.

Dyson are excellent their customer service is second to none. they have sent me so many parts over the years, I have kids who like to take things apart.
Proud to be me, proud to be who I am!!

I never found there customer service department any good, Dyson's quality has gone down the pan since they moved production abroad. My Dyson ended up in a skip and gave up spending more and more money trying to fix it every month.

I'm afraid I have to second cheggers - my poor mum's Dyson had a number of things go wrong with it within a few years and Dyson just weren't interested and wouldn't help as it was over a year old. She gave up in the end and stopped using it. How strange that some people seem to have had great service and others haven't.
