:)ive been requested to make various chutneys and piccililli for christmas gifts this year. last week i made a pear and cranberry chutney , this week im going to have a go at making piccililli (at 18 i think i should have progressed from jam making by now!!). ive got a pretty simple recipe from delia, but am just wndering if any other old stylers could pass on some recipes or tips when it comes to piccalilli

Old whatsisname made some on the telly quite recently...:think:...ahhh....here it is. Looks rather nice. Let us know how you get on.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

I've made the Delia version and you're right, it's easy and delicious!! Nothing like shop bought ones which are really vinegary, this is really smooth and tasty. Go for it!0

Can't stand the stuff myself, but I did make some using the River Cottage recipe some weeks ago.... judging by the fact Mr Mambury has polished off one whole jar in less than a week, its a good un....
Problem is I now have to make more as the three jars (1/2 the quantities in the original recipe) will have gone by Christmas.... they were supposed to be gifts!sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0
