Word 2007 product key

i bought a computer 6 months ago and i'm just trying to use Word 2007 which was preinstalled.

I don't understand where you get the product key from. Does anyone know?

It is very unusual to get Word pre-installed on a new computer. What you most likely have is a trial of word which requires you to buy the key to use it after the trial period.

Don't know. I couldn't get it to work either on my new laptop. I gave up and installed Office 2003.

If you mean it worked for a while but has now stopped, then you had a trial version which now needs paying for.

Belarc Advisor will tell you the key for a currently installed version but I don't think it is what you need.

It's not being able to activate the [STRIKE]6 month[/STRIKE] free trial that the OP is talking about.

There is no six month free trial. It's 60 days or 25 uses.
