Lol, thanks guys. He is a star when it comes making a mess in the kitchen. Last week he had a minor argument with a goodfellas Pizza. Because he doesnt believe in fully reading cooking instructions he just whips open the oven door, tosses in the Pizza and sets the gas mark to whatever he fancies..

Had he bothered to read the label he would have seen the bit that says "Place on a baking tray". As it was 20 minutes later I had an oven full of collapsed Pizza.. This of course made him slightly annoyed, annoyed enough to slat the thing across to the bin dripping tomato puree everywhere including on the dog (Its a westie, I thought he was bleeding but thats another story!!!).

Powerspray just lifted it off. I wasnt going to argue that though as I do have a new oven waiting to be fitted!!

Thanks for the suggestions, I have emailed my original post in! Worth a giggle I suppose!
I am new here, but Ive been reading for months. I never got my original authorisation and its taken until this morning for it to dawn on me to re-register....

just as i was reading this i was waiting for the asdas make of power spray to work wonders on my cooker,i read prevous post and thought it wouldnt of worked,so went to look and it had worked fantastically,i was amazed,so i dont know if fairy's power sparay works better, but in asda it was 2.49,where own make was £1 in difference cheaper

Thanks, that's handy to know. I usually use Fairy Powerspray on my oven and it does a great job. I recently made the mistake of trying the new CIF Oven Cleaner though, which is absolutely hopeless. Not only does it not clean very well, it's also very sticky (presumably so it will adhere to vertical surfaces) so takes endless rinses to clean it off.
