New Bedroom TV for the Girlfriend

Hey there,
My girlfriend has asked me to look her up a TV that she will like... and I am getting confused about TV I should pick for her. So I can on here for some expert advice.
She is looking for a 20" - 26" HD LCD TV with a built in DVD player and Freeview. This is so she does not clutter up her desk. She said she is not overly fussed by the branding of the TV.. just that it looks good and does a good enough job. She would like Full HD but I'm not really sure it would make a difference on a small TV.
Her budget is up to £250.00.. but obviously the cheaper the better.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If she's only using it for DVD and Freeview watching then there's no need to bother with HD anyhow seeing as neither of those are HD unless she's talking about Freesat.0

Oh sorry I forgot to add... She has got SkyHD in her living room and she wants to get Sky Multiroom so she would require it to have at least one HDMI slot.

My mum has had a 19" version of this & it's not bad

I got one of these for a friend about 2 months ago and she's very pleased with it.

I see they have special offers on it at the moment.
It's only 19" but has HDMI0 -
Tesco have a 24" Technika that offers true HD resolution (1920x1080), Freeview, and DVD built in.
The web price seems to be £240, although I saw it in our local tesco superstore today on the shelf for £210 inc.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -

Ta for that. We're looking for something in the same circumstance and the 37" Tosh downstairs is a treat.

TBH, brands that I don't know I wouldn't trust! They may have good products in the first instance...but there's always the risk with unestablished makes.0 -
