    I had this on a sale. They didn't get a refund as it was a couple of months old (or were offered the reduced sale price). Don't they realise if you could return for a full refund you would have done that yourself.

    People buy job lots of stuff, eg returns/last years stock/damaged packaging from various places..these have labels slashed/blacked out/marked so you cant buy a X from ebay for £20 and take it back to the shop that makes and sells X's and get store credit for £45. The sellers mostly buy them already marked/slashed as this is how the stores will sell them on to companies that specialise in selling returns/damages etc.
    If you are just average Joe selling a unwanted pair of your old jeans then leave them as they are, thats how buyers expect things to arrive..
    She has the loaded handbag of someone who camps out and seldom goes home, or who imagines life must be full of emergencies..

    Unless your a business then leave them as they are. Business sellers buy wholsale and legally they have to mark labels to prevent store returns. These are the sellers you've seen.
