I've had 'difficulties' with 123-reg and with their sister company webfusion?

And I couldn't find their telephone number.

I use HostingUK.net and their telephone number is right up there on the home page and it's a good old geographic one so I can phone from my mobile without remortgaging my house.

(I mention the tel no just as an indication of the support you get.)

    On price:

hostinguk £7.95+VAT per year for a .com
123-reg £9.99 (Doesn't say if that is inc or ex vat)

There are loads of other companies selling names too.

I generally use namecheap or godaddy for domains.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

See http://www.123-reg.co.uk/contactUs.shtml. Click to say that you've tried their online support documents and the phone number appears:
    Tel: 0871 230 9525

Have never had to call them, though, so can't comment on customer service.

What's wrong with webfusion? I used Xcalibre for my hosting for nearly a decade and they've recently sold their webhosting arm to webfusion.
