Resigning to BT Broadband

I have for the last 18 months been paying £19.99 for BT Total Broadband option 3. I've in all honesty had no problems with BT on this product but what with coming up for renewal I've been hunting around.
Tried to move to Sky for their free offer but because my internet connection isn't that great they couldn't offer it to me instead offering us another package that would, with line rental, save us £3 a month. Still as saving I guess.
Then spoke back to BT and have now got a deal of £22.99 with new hub and phone for 18 months with the first 6 months free so over 18 months I'm saving £84 and with newer equipment.
I know BT isn't everyones cup of tea and there is probably far better deals out there, but for me it's worked out well.

Impossible to know if this is a good deal (doesn't sound like it frankly- all the BT HH's are poor routers) without knowing what your alternative LLU options are.

If you are on an 02 LLU exchange for example, you can get O2 Standard with Anytime Home Phone and line rental for £20 all in.
BT are invariably one of the most expensive choices. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Just says LLU services 'No'IVA Completed - 2010"Wine for my men, we ride at dawn"960

OK no LLU options then, but plenty of better non-LLU providers than BT. However since you've just renewed for 18m anyway that is rather academic now.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

there has to be a better deal than BT, there always is.0
