Opening a new bank account - will I lose overdraft?

I have an HSBC bank account with a £2,700 overdraft facility (currently I am in credit so it is not in use). I would like to open a new account with Santander, who have said I can get an overdraft of £2,000 if I use their premier-switching service and move all my DDs and wages to them.
If I go ahead and do this, am I able to keep my HSBC account open? And if so, am I able to keep the £2,700 overdraft or is it likely that HSBC will remove it?
Thanks

No as you would have switched the account to santander which also have terrible customer serivce0

HSBC would likely remove the service after a few months of salary input ceasing.0

Unless you've had problems with HSBC and moving because of that I'd think again about Santander and consider an alternative!
You've only to trawl this forum to discover why.0
