I had a DWP medical last year and was told that my next one would be in 2014. This morning I mentioned this to someone I know on benefits too, and he said that he is being called in for a medical every year. He said he is going to ask them why he is being called in more than I am as our problems are so similar, and now I am really worried that if he mentions my name to them, that I could have more stress from them. Do I have problems here?

No, none at all. The doctor or nurse who examines him isn't going to be particularly interested in a benefit claim for anyone else so I would just forget about it.0

ATOS, who provide medical examinations for JCP, recommend the next referral date to JCP Decision Makers. The referral time for the next medical is based soley on the expected rate of recovery/improvement in the customer's medical condition. There is not 'set time' for the next medical for customers with the same incapacity.0
