Redundancy advice please

Dear all
I'm currently being made redundant and finish work next week. I won't get paid my monthly pay or my redundancy until 30th July which is OK but I have asked for the details from my P45 which HR have told me I can't have until the payroll is run, which will be after my leaving date. So my question is can they withold this information from me, and should I have a right to it before I actually leave? Thanks for you answers in advance.

They aren't withholding it from you, they just don't have it yet.

I think that it is perfectly reasonable for them to sort it out after the July pay run, as obviously your P45 is based on your pay!

If it hasn't turned up after the first week of August then I'd start pestering, but until then just wait.

Thanks for the reply, but I need these figures to be able to sign on with the job centre and also for tax credit purposes, or will they accept estimations?
