Planting garlic bulblets
I have harvested all my garlic this year and it has been sort of successful. Some are large split bulbs, some small, solid. Never mind, they will all be enjoyed.
2 had developed what seem to be a 'seed head' of little bulblets. I would love to use these. Do i dry them out? Plant them as they are? When do I plant them?
I have looked in my veg growing book, but can't find anything, or on these forums either.

(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Let them ripen on the plant. Best to plant the bulbils in September in a box of compost, close together, when they will start to grow into what is known as "grass". They will die down next summer but will still be very small. They will take several years to reach harvest size.0

So the fact that I have harvested them all, can I still use them? Would they be likely to dry out by Sept? How do I keep them until then? I just have them sitting with the garlic bulbs i have drying.
Very useful info BTW. I appreciate it.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Yes, you can use them to plant out in the Autumn, just keep them dry till then.0
