I have been a lurker on this site for many months and have only recently started posting.
I have a question I am hoping you will be able to help with.
My OH and I are looking at saving £500 a month until approx June/July next year.
There may be a few months where it wont be so much (MOT etc).
Can you give me some guide as to the best type of account to place this money in?
We bank with NatWest normally. We have a current account and step account with them.
I had looked at the post office instant saver, but any other ideas?
Thanks in advance.

take a look at the Yorkshire BS regular saver
the interest rate is lower than some, but you can save up to £500 pm, change it as required, and the limit is £20K
assuming you dont want to take it out again soon.
