Morning Beanie, Claire, Gemzzie and Jo,

I've lost 0.1kg. Not much but small and stead steps.

Claire - glad to hear you're not feeling hungry. How did you get on at the hospital, if you don't mind me asking?

    Beanie - hello.

Gemzzie - oh no, please don't pass the germs my way.

    Jo - hello stranger!

Any amount off is good :) Germs fully contained *puts on hazard suit*

Been dog walking, now reading the paper and chillin' before I start ironing. Friend was complaining her sons school have given them details of a school trip, that he wants to go on......it's £1800 !!! Cricketing tour of Barbados-jeepers,I thought my DDs skiing trip was expensive at £900! Is this a record?

£1800?? For one person?? (and a mini-person at that!) You could take a family away for that sort of money!!

Going to see the surgeon at 6. Hope he gives me something that makes my eye a bit more comfortable and less like it wants to constantly close.

Hi Butti, what is the matter with your eye? Are you going to have an operation?

My Mum is being referred to a specialist as she has a very bad allergic reaction / eczema / mutant skin (her words not mine I hasten to add!) around her eyes and her neck. She has had it on and off for about 9 months now, and there seems to be no logic to it, sometimes seems stress related, other times related to being a bit run down, sometimes to toiletries....in other words it's a pain in the you-know-where! Also makes her very self-conscious.

Poor Butti and my Mum :(

Blimey, £1800?! And it's not as if a cricketing tour is especially educational is it? Or something that has to be done so far away.

Mz_grim, thanks for mentioning shopping, you've reminded me that I'm putting off doing mine so that I can run down the freezer, which means taking something out to defrost now.

Morning all! Normally lurk but don't get chance to post - mornings are such a rush!!!

2 DSs have gone to school, 1 load of washing on the line, trying to update my iPhone (either iTunes is slow....or it's more likely my PC;)) and browsing on here. DD is saying she's tired, so is watching a DVD. My day off work today so am going to catch up on a few bits of housework.....nothing interesting.

    Have a good day everyone

BrummieBabe, have you put the new operating system on an old iphone? Apparantly that's causing all kinds of problems.

Nathans shoes have arrived for the wedding, so both Ben and Nathan are kitted out, just me and dh to do now.
