Is it possible to get capped economy 10?

I've recently moved from a house where my charges were capped, and in spite of telling me, on several occasions, that I would be able to transfer my capping to my new house, which is Economy 10 (a point that I have always informed them of), Powergen has gone back on its word.

It is now telling me that Economy 10 is not a cappable tariff. Does anyone know of an Economy 10 tariff that can be capped? I want to avoid being stung by the imminent price increase that I wasn't aware was coming as I was expecting and was told I would be immune to it (lying b***ers).

I have tried the comparison sites but they just don't allow me to put my tariffs in, as other posters have noticed, they just tell you that your tariff doesn't exist.

Thanks!

Econ 10 is not a capable product with powergen - Econ 7 and Standard 1 rate meters are.

Its because E10 meters incur a standing charge with powergen.

You can cap your prices if you have the meter swapped powergen should be able to honour this if you want an E7 meter installed instead.
