uploading music to Youtube

I've seen a lot of posts asking how to download music from Youtube to MP3...I've got the opposite problem. My OH has written and recorded a song for me which is gorgeous and I want to share it to friends etc. I thought the easiest way might be to put it on youtube but can't see how to upload an MP3 file.
I considered creating a slideshow and putting the music to that - not sure of details but my friends teenage son could do that for me. Could that then be uploaded to youtube? Another possible option is I could use my camcorder and my editing gadget to create a video but that's a lot more effort!
Just wondered if any of you good techie folk could recommend a simple way that doesn't involve me buying or downloading more software (my PC is old and overloaded and I'm trying to avoid adding more to it)

No you can't upload an mp3 file to YouTube.
So instead you can make a slideshow from the mp3 file and one or more jpegs then that will be OK to upload to YouTube.
You can make the slideshow using Windows Movie Maker.
Maybe your friend's son will show you how to do that. It's not difficult.Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0 -
Yep, use windows movie maker, drag in the mp3 and any picture you like, then create a video from it and upload it.poppy100
