Catalogue problem

I have been a customer of Kays catalogue for about 10 years. I havent bought anything for almost a year although I still have the catalogue and recieve regular details of special offers etc. I also had almost £75 in commision which I kept on the account with the idea of putting it towards a larger purchase.
I have just ordered some bits for my Mum and when scanning my statement noticed my commision as shown as 0. I rang the help line who confirmed my balance as showing zero. I was told to write with evidence of my commision. I cant believe this has happened and to be honest I dont have the time or energy for a long dispute
I dont understand how Kays can loose my money and then put the onus on me to prove it existed.
Any ideas as to how I can approach this please?

can't you send in a copy of the last statement you had showing the £75 commision?

Thanks, the problem is I dont have a statement showing the commision. I threw a load of paperwork away a while ago. I never dreamt that I would need it or that it would simply disappear from Kays records. You live and learn.

Have you got an online Kays account? That will do you past statements for about 8 months.
If not apply for one - it takes a couple of days to get sorted and of course is totally free!

i have a Kays account and to be honest I have had that many problems I am paying them up and seeing them off. It's just not worth the hassle.

    Good luck Bams x
