Holiday Insurance with a Diabetic!
Comments

Hope you manage to find something, OP. My OH was recently diagnosed with diabetes. He already has travel insurance through his bank account. He wrote to them with the details of his medication and they've now accepted it. I was so pleased that we didn't have to start looking around to find another provider. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

And for what it's worth (for mum) look at the Post Office (a certain other poster will argue my recommendations but please make your own mind up after comparing coverage).......
Not the cheapest - but the best value for money readily available.
We do see you regularly push fortis (who are the insurer providing post office travel insurance), and when asked (by others) if you have a "special" reason for continually pushing them, and why you use these forums to keep on recommending them your answer was "curiosity killed the cat".
The Which magazine has published its list of best travel insurers, no surprise there is no mention of fortis (or post office):

Closer to home, a MSE member took "someone's" recommendation here and went with fortis, his case history shows it ended in tears:

Maybe you could now tell us why you (a debt collector in Florida) are in such a position that you can give such an authoritative recommendation, and in particular how your recommended company gives "the best value for money readily available"?0 -
My Dad died last year of an unrelated illness, but he had been diabetic for a number of years, controlled by tablets. He used to go abroad regularly and always insured with Staysure. You will need to declare the illness, but as long as it has been stable for a period of time, they will cover you.

The premiums were always very reasonable, but I can't comment on the service as he never claimed!0 -
