Small Kitchen Quote

Hello,
I have a tiny kitchen that requires updating and I wondered if someone could advise on whether the following quote is fair? It's a little higher than I had expected (especially considering it's for Ikea units!).
-Remove existing units
- fit new kitchen (white gloss doors & beech effect laminate worktop) to consist of:
400mm wall unit
1000mm wall unit
500mm base unit
1000mm base unit
worktops
stainless steel sink & tap & plinth
-to box in pipes below boiler
TOTAL QUOTE = £1, 190.
I've never had a kitchen fitted so any advice much appreciated

Bump!
Please could somebody advise me? I'm in the Edinburgh area.
Thanks :-)0 -
if this is for fitting only it is very steep. That is a very small kitchen. For that price I presume your tradesmen will dispose of the units (I always do but alot dont) Are the carcasses (units) flat packed or are they already made. If the units need to be put together this will obviously add time and cost. That said this seems a very simple job, Obviously I havnt seen the job ie, size of boxing in, access to units, electrical sockets etc etc but I fit kitchens for a living and would say the max you should be paying is £600 or £700
anything you want to know give me a shout

Hi Richard,
Thanks very much for your reply, that kind of price range was more what I was hoping! You're not in the Edinburgh area are you?!
You can see a picture of my kitchen here:

The quote does NOT include removal of waste (that would be an additional £90), but does include collection of units and putting the flat packed units together, so maybe that is what has hiked the cost up...
I think I might get someone round for a second quote, I just didn't want to waste anyones time if this is the average amount I should expect to pay!
Thanks :-D0
