Packing A3 Posters

I have some A3 laminated posters which I want to list in my shop but I need to purchase some packaging. I was looking at poster tubes but they are almost £1 each unless I buy a huge quantity.
Any other deas what I could use to post them? I would prefer to use new packaging rather than reuse as its for a business rather than a personal sale.
Thanks,

£1 seems reasonable for decent packaging and the buyer pays for it anyway so i wouldn't mind paying extra for that.Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0

Of course but what i'm saying is that i dont think that is expensive. No matter how you pack it you will have to send it as a package unless you can get it small enough to fit in the dimensions of a letter or large packet.

Hi, do you have a Fishing Tackle shop in your area, if so go along and ask if they will give you 1 or 2 of the cardboard tubes used to protect fishing rods during transit, cut to size required with sharp knife/hacksaw, you will get several lengths out of one tube alternatively go to B&Q or similar, buy a length of light plastic drain pipe, usually about 8 - 10 feet, cut to size etc. No I don't sell on Ebay but I fish a lot.

If you ask nicely at your local cinema, they sometimes give poster tubes away. They get all of their posters (and they have laods for advertising purposes) in tubes, and they mostly just have to chuck them.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

If you have sevral to sell, you could alwyas use cheap plastic guttering downpipe from a DIY shop! The thinner stuff isn't much heavier than the decent cardboard tubes!
Remember the new postage rates though and posters are at the most expensive rate (eg Packet not letters or large letters)0 -

Good plan, my DP works for a builders merchants so gets things at cost price.
Wilkinsons have A3 Jiffy bags, packs of four for £2.25. I measured the posters and the lamintaing make them a little bigger than A3:rolleyes:Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0
