Clothes for an old lady

Any online places (catalogues maybe) good for clothes for an old lady in a retirement home (not very mobile).

Thinking of low maintenance non-iron stuff.

M&S is good for leggings & has some velour trousers & nighties.

But don't want cotton (creasing) tops & nearly of their are cotton or if they are polyester they are blouses & I'm looking for simple low-maintenance stuff.

Also those soft bras that are almost like crop tops, can't seem to find those (not the high impact sports ones) as shes very small up top & has had a mastectomy so needs a full cup & those are soft too, so would be ideal.

You would think M&S would sell those granny non-slip slippers with the Velcro fastening, wouldn't you:mad:

I've heard of Ambrose Wilson, is that my best bet?

Bon Marche or BHS would probably have something suitable. It can be tricky shopping for elderly ladies though, I struggled with getting things for my grandma as nowhere seems to cater for them now. If you just want plain skirts and then blouses/cardigans then Matalan and similar places can usually suffice too. I thought the sites such as Ambrose Wilson were very expensive for what they were.

M&S also have a couple of more mature ranges that might have some options depending on your budget. The bras you can get there too. I think even Asda have soft cup bras.

Have a look at damart, they have a range of clothes, slippers and underwear (not just thermal stuff!)

    These are the bras

I knew I had seen them somewhere, they are good for limited mobility because they are front fastening & they are soft cups (she is only small so only needs a soft comfortable bra.

I have seen them in Sunday supplements cheaper, but hey ho, I've found them.

    Thank you.

My mum used to shop in BHS for thick leggings & nice velour or sweat-shirt type fabric tunic tops.

Actually, some of the jumpers and tops on the new damart site are really quite lovely :)

Hello Mrs E, Aren't the retirement home washing and ironing her clothes.? If they are you will have to be careful as most things are washed at 60 degrees centigrade. Also even when clothes are named an awful lot seem to go missing.
