Online clothes shopping

I brought some clothes over the weekend from New Look. I had an e-mail from them today saying theres a sale on and many of the items i brought are now half price. The money hasn't been taken out of my account yet and i was wondering if they have to charge me at the original price or the new reduced one.

If the price had gone up in the meantime, which price do you think they should charge you at?Gone ... or have I?0

I'd call them. Tell them it will save you having to return the items then buy them again. I expect they'll give you the discount.
If they don't, make a new order for the sale prices and send back the full price items."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
But it is a valid one, especially in the way the OP has asked the question!

It is a valid one, but the OP can return the clothes under the distance selling regs, then re-buy them at the lower price, and they'll just have to pay the return postage if that's what New Look policy is, thus potentially saving money.
So a sensible answer would be to phone the order line and ask!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

They can, but the OP didn't ask that, in fact she hasn't even said they have been despatched. Plus there is nothing to say that the items she wants will still be in stock by the time she reorders them - is that a risk she wants to take?
If the retailer uses a courier for despatch and return, it could cost them pennies to have them returned (if indeed they have been sent out).
I agree that the question needs to be asked, but that is not what the OP wanted to know!

She can re-order before returning the others though? In fact if delivered by courier, would probably make sense as the delivery guy could take away the return package while he was there.
Although the sensible thing to do would be to call them, as it would save them money on re-sending the items. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I don't often post picky comments like this but you bought the items, not brought, brought means to bring something as in take it from one place to another, you mean bought as in purchased. This is a pet hate of mine and I can't take anyone seriously who cannot tell the difference.Bought, not Brought0

Everyone has different strengths. For some people, it is spelling, grammar etc. For others, its wiring plugs, fixing computers etc.
Granted there are many idiots in the world. But i was raised to treat others as i myself would wish to be treated and its possible to help others see their errors without kicking them while they're down
I have many pet hates in regards to words used out of context or incorrectly(for example the term "could care less" when in fact they mean the exact opposite). But it wouldnt have any relevance on the credibility i assign them if it is not relevant to the matter in hand. You keep using that word.
