Recorded Phone Conversations?

Hi,
Can I request to have a transcript/CD of a recorded phone conversation between myself and a Car Insurance Co (I agreed to the recorded conversation by the way) if the amount of money deducted via my Debit Card was more than I had verbally agreed to?
The Insurance Co. sent me a letter (when told them that I did not agree the deductions they took) stating that they had listened to the recording and told me that I had been advised by their clerk of the amount of the deduction, but they have not yet sent me a transcript of the recording that I had asked for in a letter that I sent them requesting it?

Yes you ask for a data subject access request and they will need to provide it.
The can charge you up to £10 for this0 -
Realistically the charge is highly likely to be £10. For the sake of efficiency it might be best just to enclose a cheque for £10 with the letter.Yes you ask for a data subject access request and they will need to provide it.

Don't enclose £10 with the letter, some companies will NOT charge.
Push for a copy of the call on CD (they may even by able to email it to you).
Good luck!0 -
Yes you can, the calls are recorded for this reason.0
