Quiet areas to practice driving in South Wales?

Hi. My daughter is learning to drive with an instructor, but she is having some issues with clutch control when driving on the road. I just took her to a nearby industrial estate that was empty last year, but it is now filled with people and cars. We stopped in a lay by and she found isolated practice with the clutch made it easier to understand. But obviously the space we had was very, very small - just wondering if anyone knows any quiet places where I could take her to practice? Just a parking lot or something would be great - anywhere where she'd have a bit more room and wouldn't need bother anyone else around.

enterprise park (by the lake) in swansea is pretty quiet in the evenings, and plenty of little side roads she could pul in to do 3 point turns.

    daytime is very busy.

    Whereabouts are you?

The Queensway industrial estate by Newport is only populated by learner drivers - the roads are big and open but there's no traffic, and plenty of public carparks to play with, such as the one by the sorting office.

Bridgend industrial estate is another one favoured by learner drivers.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Swansea is a bit far away to go to in the evenings, but it sounds like a great place to go when she is a little further along with her lessons.

These estates sound quite good, (edit after google maps!) though Newport is a long way away, and the Bridgend one isn't as close as I had thought. Still, I wouldn't mind going for Bridgend. I was just wondering if either of you might know the times preferable for these estates? I went to Kenfig industrial estate this afternoon, around 2 PM, but it had a lot of cars and people walking around. Are these 2 estates naturally quiet, or would it be best to go late in the day / on the weekend? Wondering if the areas would be better on Sunday / after 6ish?

I live in Porthcawl, so fairly close to Bridgend. The nearest industrial estates are Kenfig and Pyle.

    Thanks again!

I don't know what Bridgend is like in the week/day time, but the weekends are pretty quiet.

If you're near Llanelli, the coastal road (near Machynys golf club) is always dead after about 6pm. I know this because it's where I still go to practice my driving some nights.
