RBS Change of Address

Hi,

I went into my local RBS branch at noon yesterday to change my address. There was no problem, I had to sign something to confirm, everything went smoothly. However, according to my internet banking it has still not been updated. This is an issue as I need to get the internet at my new house asap and cannot do it until the address of my phone line and of my bank are one and the same! Can anyone offer any help?

if you have given the form in, just fill in the internet form as normal, with your new address?

It might hae already changed - just take time to update the screen display on internet banking.

I dont think things such as change of addresses are not done at branch level and will possibly get sent off to a customer service centre to be changed.

Youd be better off changing your address via telephone banking it will be done there and then via this method.

The form will be sent off to the service centre to be processed which can take about 1 week.

Apparently there were trials down south which allowed branches to do address changes there and then, but personally, I've not heard anything since.
