You should of went for 1 of the sygma credit cards then you do not have to wait a year and a half for them to decrease your apr..0

Well done! I ahve one and I just make sure I pay it off every month with those silly initial rates! Also bear in mind that your interest rates can shrink to 19% but that is still an awful lot of interest!! Hopefully by month 22 you will have a clean file and be able to access more mainstream cards. My start limit was £750 (i think) and doubled on month 3 or 4
That was quick..applied on fri and pin today.. i waited weeks for mine0 -

Did you previously have the classic card first?

Even tho i am not the OP i do have a progres and i didnt have a classic first. As I understand you can apply for the card that you feel fits your credit history most closely and if you 'fail' for that card they will automatically score you for the lesser attractive cards.0 -
Ahhh!
I never knew they do that.
I think i might go for the progress one then, i've had the classic for about 3 months!
Cheers.

Hi Adam, you cannot hold 2 cap1 cards at any one time. You would need to close the cap1 classic and re-apply after a month or so.
Best way forward is to use the classic for another few months, then close it and re-apply for a progress (its got to help having a past history with them when it comes to the decision). If you met the criteria for a progress i am sure they would have provided you with one at the time. Maybe worth a call to them to clarify but i am 99% sure this is the process you will need to follow0 -
Yeah, thanks-very-much for that.
I think that's what i will do!
Cheers.
