Unemployment Insurance - does this pay whilst I'm receiving Maternity Allowance?

I was made redundant at the end of April and I have unemployment cover. I am 22 weeks pregnant and if I am still unemployed in the 11th week before the week my baby is due, my Maternity Allowance payments will automatically start and therefore my JSA payments will stop.

I need DWP to sign a form each month to prove I'm receiving JSA in order for my unemployment insurance to pay out.

Does anyone know if my insurance should still pay whilst I'm receiving Maternity Allowance or would it start again at the end of this once I'm back on JSA?

There is no mention about pregnancy in any small print of the policy so I don't know what to do! I'm scared to tell them incase they refuse to pay but surely this is discriminating against me for being pregnant?
