    Thanks Millipede

Excuse my ignorance, but are you saying that an Airport Express Base Station is no use as a wireless router? Should have said that I have a cable modem (I have NTL) already which I want to attach a wireless router to.

If that's the case I'll look at alternatives, but was attracted to the Airport Express as I can plug printer in via USB for two wireless laptops to use.

MSOffice looks a good bet then!

    Cheers!
    Waddle you do eh?

Thats fine if you have a Cable modem it will make it wireless, so it will be something you may need to buy.

    Glad I can help :D

  • Yep also the Mac Minis have had a small increase too, and with the price drop and a £679 entry level machine its too good to resist

Do you know exactly what the updates are going to be?

ie, only new nano's, or is the video ipod going to be updated too? (to a touch sensitive widescreen that people are talking about on the net?!)

    Cheers
  • Im afraid not, but next tuesday something seems to be happening about Video/Movie I would expect something then.
  • .....and this article is interesting news for Mac Intel owners who want to run Windows apps.
CrossOver Mac will be the very best way to run your Windows applications on your Intel based Mac. It will let you install and run Windows programs as though they were native, all without having to buy or run a copy of Windows itself.

    TOG
    604!
  • I have to say after using Parallels i found it much nicer, Crossover was a little buggy in places.

I've heard that Macbook's may being upgraded with the Merom chip this month.

Any news millipede, i.e. may it be worth waiting for upgrade (I'm planning on buying Macbook in next month)?

    Thanks
