Halifax do not want my money

I tried to open a cash ISA with Halifax, 3% interest rate for two years. Had to wait a week for an appointment and was told 3% rate not guaranteed to still be open. Appointment cancelled by them. Offered a new appointment for Friday. Could not take that as I was going away. Even less guarantee that 3% offer would still be open. Decided to put the money elsewhere! Any suggestions?

I'd consider 3% for 2 years a pretty poor rate anyway as hopefully next year saving rates will rise by abit. I used to have my money with them until I moved else where to get a better rate. Currently got 3% for 1 year and a 4% saving account"No likey no need to hit thanks button!":pHowever its always nice to be thanked if you feel mine and other people's posts here offer great advice:D So hit the button if you likey:rotfl:0

Or if you are as charming as me you don't need to make an appointment (twice now! once with Barclays, once with Halifax!)0
