I switched to Southern Electric last summer with the promise of lower cost. How wrong I was. They seem to be dearer than N Power were.

Question is, are there some competitive deals out there or are they all pretty much the same ?

    It depends on your useage. The more you vary from the national average the more chaotically the prices of tariffs differ. Try throwing your data in a comparison site such as uswitch or energyhelpline to see what's available in your region for your typical useage.
