as a landlady i ask the guarantor to fill in exactly the same form that my tenants get to fill in with a final "guarantor" page. this includes references, employer, bank statements, landord/mortgage statements. its pointless accepting a guarantor who cannot pay the rent preferably thru a UK bank account.0

I didn't give my bank details when I stood as guarantor. The letting agent wrote to my employer who gave me a reference concerning my character and confirming my salary.0
