Hi folks , been away from here a short while , things haven't been good
Got great news that my illness is minor and treatable and booked my holiday away, but hours later had news of two deaths in the family
DD is devastated as has never had to deal with death other than pets. Also her father has been in hospital and my father is ill. It just seems to get worse.:(
Luckily (?) I am on holiday this week so can be at homw with DD, don't know what work will say about me needing to go to 2 funerals though.
On the bright side I have seen an advert for my 'perfect' job. It will be a pay cut as it is initially a trainee post but you cannot get the training where i work now and once you have completed the training the prospects are good. Spoke to the manager who was really nice and sending in my CV today. Fingers crossed for me folks - i need a break:o
DFW things today :- went to CPW to exchange new phone i bought for DD but wasn't working on arrival ( good deal - got 2000 nectar points, unlimited text and internet for £20 pm and an xbox)
- went to tesco to top up tesco payg sim - £20 credit for £10 top up and triple clubcard points
- 4x cans pepsi £1 at poundland (with code for comp)
- Bargains in debenhams blue cross sale : mums bday present £6 reduced from £20, Best freinds Bday present £15 reduced from £30 and a few other bits for total of £7 reduced from £25.
- Have applied for refund on DDs train ticket which we can't use due to funeral - it says non refundable but you never know. They said no , i said i'll never use First transpenine express again , they sent me a feedback form. Anyone want a single adult ticket from leeds to durham next week ?
- Rang Computer company to see where my new battery is - current battery has a fault and cannot be used.
- HC x1 done but its a bit late and rainy to hang out , will fold and leave for tommorow
- stop dd to creditexpert - why i started that i will never know probably have to be tommorow now
- contact HMRC who are sending me bills for NI (registered self employed for MSing but changed my mind when i realised what a hassle it was. (They know I stoped and keep refunding me but we go through this every three months)Done , its all on record, don't know why i was sent a letter , told me to ignore it.
- Start tax returns for last year next job
- list some stuff on Ebay/Ebid - need to get some stuff shifted if i'm taking a paycutWill be tommorow also, have a large pile ready.
- Send letter to private pension company accepting their offer to top up my NHS pension Done , they offered me 9k into my nhs pension as it is underfunded by 7k thanks to them
- Try the tech board to find out if i can solve the problem with the netbook without being charged silly money tonight or tommorow
- Chill with my bargain bottle of tesco wine
cat has left a regurgitated bird outside the door - can't stomach this now

Picasso - so sorry to hear about your losses - hope you and your daughter manage this difficult time as best you can - hugs.
In addition to my little list posted earlier I have..- Taken old manky dress ring to gold place and got a £10 for it - never liked it, was bought for me by an old boyfriend - didn't like him or the ring!
- Bought dad a bargain b'day card from cheap card shop for 89p
