How can I connect to the internet using a 3 Mobile Broadband MiFi (connected via USB port) and Ubuntu?
I am very new to Ubuntu so please, can someone explain step by step instructions as I have looked on google and seems to complex for me to understand

It seems to depend on which chipset is in your 3 mobile dongle.
I have one that has a Huawei chipset with the part number MF627 and with Ubuntu 10.04 it just works. No extra drivers needed. Plug it in and the network wizard starts - just tell it your provider is 3 and you're pretty much there.0
