5p listing day (merged threads)

Agutka..I think if it is this bad today then Sunday in 10 days time is going to be manic.

I'm uploading mine in batches of 10, and am getting approx 4 errors per batch, and the 6 that do go through are taking forever. I tried relisting some direct on ebay and it's virtually stopped working for me, took nearly 10 minutes to relist one item as it kept going to 'page not found'.

I'll be pleased when I get my last lot uploaded.

Oh yes, and one really worrying thing, it told me i had errors on my last upload and three items did not upload, but when I checked my ebay they had actually uploaded, so I could have ended up listing them twice :eek:

Well, I'm done for today. Just need to check there are no duplicate listings. I had to upload some over and over... But that's 40 items - all listings created today! Should really prepare in advance next time. I hope I sell some of these... Haven't taken Ebay seriously for ages now...

Ebay is definitey porked - I only want to list 2 pairs of school trousers that didn't fit my girls - Grrrrrr.

Typical - get your act together Ebay - it's a good job they don't have any competition!!

Now there is a business idea - anyone?

never sold on ebay before, just spent ages setting up my sellers account but now every time i try to list my items the site keeps crashing! :mad:

I'm manually listing items (sell similar, I've never bothered with turbo lister yet) and it's very slow and unreliable.

I listed a total of 10 items during the cheap listing day, including 4 I did on Turbo Lister on Wdnesday and 1 relist, but they took ages.

I fear we may have problems today as it is 10 days after auctions end that were listed on the 5p day.

I just had a buyer email me (they had my email as I had answered a question for them about combining p and p on multiple purchases) saying that they cannot get onto ebay to bid and my item finishes in a few minutes. I've logged in myself and got in OK, however everytime I switch from page to page I get 'page not found' error messages.

I suggest anyone planning on bidding today give themselves an extra little time to do so.

Does anyone know if sniper programs (e.g. Auctionstealer) will still work OK when eBay is acting up?
