Sweet peas
I sowed and have grown sweet peas for the first time this year, only 5 of the plants I sowed survived but they are flowering away happily in a sunny border. A couple of the flowers have died off and there is the seed pod... 2 questions please: Should I remove the seed pod, and does deadheading them make them flower more?
Thanks
Thanks

Yes and yes and save the seeds for next year xSometimes not moving backwards is as much an achievement as moving forwards is on other times. (originally posted by kidcat)

At this time of year, cut some flowers to enjoy them indoors and dead-head any left on the plant as soon as the flowers go over.
Towards the end of August, leave a few to set seed so you have them for free next year.0 -
Mine havent even flowered yet, but they are on the dark side of the garden.0

And they have the most beautiful scent dont they! I got 3 10" pots, several baskets, several half moon pots and some of those green Hessian bags with sweet peas they make the room smell nice where I have them0
