You could syphon your water out and then clean your gravel but put the old water back in. That would give your fish the best chance while keeping your gravel looking clean.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
I've just changed about a quarter of the tank, it is just the water thats discoloured not the glass. Hopefully that might help clear it up a little?!

We bought a nifty little cleaner at the weekend. It is a standard type gravel sucker, but the bits are filtered into a little bag on the side so you don't have to change the water to clean the gravel and you don't get it all falling back in.0 -

Where could i get one of those or was it just in your LFS?
I would expect you could get them anywhere. I think we still have the packing so I will have a look and tell you what the make is and what it is called. Probably won't be until tomorrow now as I just popped in before shower and bedtime.0 -
