rumours of voluntary redundacies and meeting tommorrow, been in company 20 years and misses 12. looks like if this is true and i accept voluntary redundancy i will get 18 months pay and misses 10.
Now, i still have over 16 years of mortgage but the pay would no where near pay it off.
What i'm thinking is maybe looking into buying a fish and chip shop van and going mobile. I do not know anything about rules and laws on this in terms of just turning up on a residential street and selling my fish and chips.
I live near the sea and lots of country villages are nearby, so im not short of custom. However, can i just roll up in a van on a sea front or in a village and just start selling.
can anyone advise me further.
cheers.

All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

You will need a food hygiene certificate to start with. After that, You may need a street traders licence. Whether you do or not depends where you are in the country and also where you intend to trade. It's up to the council, but some areas will likely require you to have a licence, others will not, and in some areas street trading may not be allowed at all. Have a look on your local council's website, or give them a ring and you should find the relevant info.0
