Real or not? Bendy Bull Q

Managed to find a bendy bully at car boot this past weekend. However, trying to find out whether it is the real deal or not.
Aging of it (it's made of a foam like material) suggests it is at least from when the show was on. It has a "Bendy C Central Made in Malaysia" stamp on the back. It matches up with ones I have seen in pics from TV show era and also has no voice box which they seem to have put in toy type ones.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance.

I know they retailed copies for a while, so the chances of it being a show one are doubtful, from memory of someone I remember being on the show they were pretty heavy. There was also a recent remake (on Challenge) that they gave them away on.
That said I'm sure whatever it is is some kind of collector's item.0 -
Lets have a look at what you could of won...
On a serious note if it is a real one from the show that is pretty cool!0 -
It's definitely not a remake one, aged too much for that (and the stamp at the back). Sounds like it could be a retail one from the show area as it isn't particularly heavy. Worth buying anyway! Cheers all.0

I'm pretty sure your Bendy Bully is identical to the one from the gameshow even though it might not be awarded on the show. "Bullseye" was made on a shoe string budget, an importer under the name of "Bendy Toys" had these made in Malaysia and supplied the show and they also sold the Bully in shops but I heard it was pulled after a couple of weeks after the producer of the show complained though that need to be verified. The word "Central" are copyright to Central TV who produce the show and that also appear on the Bully tankards and darts.
The orginal Bowen era Bendy Bully are slightly heavier and fatter around the waist than the newer Spikey era ones but I would not describe it as "heavy", you can easily tell by the way Jim picks them up. The shirt red and white stripes is wider on the Bowens Bully. It would not surprise me Bendy Toys sold their remaining stocks they had soon after the show was cancelled in 1995.0
