have you checked that Parc Asterix is open then?
we looked to go during our Sun holiday last Oct half term, and it wasn't open! :(

we too use tesco deals, but for Eurotunnel ( hate the ferry!)

Yep, it's open that whole week in October (25th to 31st inclusive).

Luckily, my son doesn't want to go to DLP, as he wants two days at PA instead. Lucky because Clubcard no longer do DLP tickets!

We went two years ago, in a pre-pitched tent, it was actually cheaper than pitching our own tent. The accomodation is brilliant, hard floor, decent beds, fridge etc,
They also do static homes too, which look nicer.

    Hi Guys

Just a heads up, I booked a 3 night break down in rockley park online with a priority code, this was in my dads name, we recieved confirmation and additional costings through the post. when calling to make payment i was told that although i was on the booking, the holiday was for my dad who was the lead party, although he wasnt listed on the guests.
I have had to write to them with dads authorisation and signature confriming that i was infact the lead party.
I was informed if this wasnt done there would have to be paper work and authorisation and at least a 30 mins- 1 hr hassle for doing this on our arrival.
We have used his before and never had any problems, but better to be safe then sorry.

so Just a warning check your lead booking names if you our using someone elses priorty code.

Hope you were all successfull in booking your breaks

    Frankie.:)

Does anyone know roughly how long after you post your application that you can expect to hear something?

Yes, Clairelou, it could be around 3 weeks.. I know it does seem a long time before you will hear from them ( it will be from the actual site that you are going to.. with details of what more they will need in payment ( ie.. if you need entertainment pass..VERY expensive drinks in the clubs though ! maybe best to think twice before getting those.. ...or, whether you'll need sheets and pillow cases ( take your own if using your own transport )... and also the nightly charge ( which covers energy used in gas/or electric, and ' cleaning' )/you cant avoid THIS charge.. Please tip the toaster up when you get there.. there are ALWAYS crumbs and bits of old bread inside urgh !..I have told them about this on many occasions but it doesn't seem to get through to the cleaners... Haven.. Take Note !

There are usually only pretty basic utensils in these caravans, but, for the amount of time there ( its only used to sleep in, wherever WE go )..these holidays are great value, and good to have a look around wherever you are staying at the time .

If you can.. take your own food, and whatever you will need. THE SHOPS ON SITE ARE DAYLIGHT ROBBERS !

Apart from these.. have a good holiday !
