Hi. I' also want to book for April next year. It's september when the next lot of hols are out, and these may cover the April dates, but i'm not sure. Think we may have to wait for the January ones!

Has anyone ever booked a Butlins break and not paid for the entertainment passes??
I was lucky enough to go to Minehead a few weeks ago on a Sun break and found that they never issued us with any passes even though we paid for them. It seems that once your in the park knowone ever asks or is given a pass so wondered if you could get away with not paying the additional cost. Has anyone ever tried it?????????

I just wondered if anyone ever managed to book butlins for more than 4 people? we need a holiday 5 of us!

If anyone wants recommendations - We have been to blackpool marton mere to see the illuminations a few years running - site is really close to sea front and was clean and tidy with plenty to do! and stayed at croix du vieux pont this May accomodation and site were really great! couldnt fault it at all - thanks to RachieB for the recommendation for that one

Butlins won't take parties of more than 4, even if the 5th person is an infant. We have tried to book for more than 4 before and they won't allow it. Once the booking has been made, it can't be changed either to add more people. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
Also, they won't allow the entertainment passes to be cancelled, you have to pay for them.

Can you book anywhere for 6 , do the sun allow this .Also can u book for october half term ?

For those wishing to go to Disneyland, P&O ferries are giving away free passes with every ferry booking. You need to book before the end of September though.

I think it applies to day trips too, soif you live close enough to Dover, a day trip to Calais costs £25 and gets you a £43 Disney ticket.

If you just want to save on the Ferry costs and don't mind an extra half an hour travel (2 hours instead of 1hr 30), or you're heading north/east, go with NorfolkLine on the Dover-Dunkerque route. Currently it's about £38 for a return crossing. That's for the car and passengers, not each.

someone in another thread has stated that they paid for 4 when there was 5 of them, once they had booking confirmed they then phoned up butlins and added on 5th person no problems at all, last year we booked butlins and changed the booking, although not adding another person mind, it was to upgrade and extend, mind you this year when we went to book a holiday thru the sun, we had just had a new arrival so making it 5, when i put 5 into the online booking it did throw up skegness which we refused as did not have car at the time, but was surprised to get it as there was 5 of us

We managed to book Butlins for 5 this year! (Minehead)
We originally booked for 4 and then phoned up and added the extra person for the extra £9.50!

Thanks - I think i'll go for it then! My priority booking says lines open on Sunday, do you think we will be able to book Friday or Saturday? I'm sure last time was Friday wasnt it?

last time we didn't get a code I asked on facebook and a friends gave me theirs worth a try.
