British Gas - One of the lowest prices - Yes True

I just did a search on Uswitch and it came up Npower was the best, I then went back and sellected "no" to the link "plans you can switch online with uSwitch", British Gas then come up second place with a plan "click energy dualfuel" which is not switchable online.

Thought this was very interesting as most people would not change this setting and of course Uswitch dont want you to as they get so much money by getting you to switch online.

An alternative is energyhelpline, the link is shown at the top of this page....

...they show ALL providers, reason enough not to use USWITCH.

Unfortunately, British Gas Click might show up as the cheapest but it is very badly administered. There have been a number of threads on this forum about problems with click. Do a search! I have just switched out of BG click because it was so useless.

Ditto, although technically my Click account was never set up.

The other reason to be cautious about Click is that its prices did not go up with the other BG tariffs, so they may well be put up in the coming months.
