Replying to a buyer who feels like 'bother'

Buyer has now shown their hand, proposing that a refund of postage will cover their disappointment about the 'damage'. Obviously if they SNAD it, they can easily scratch the item, so buyer is bargaining i'll roll over to limit the loss. Funnily enough he sells too, so i'll just bide my time awhile...0

Clearly they want to keep the item so I very much doubt it is damaged at all. I would be tempted to stand my ground and ask them to return it for a full refund on a matter of principal. You have to be prepared to get a 'damaged' item back though and probably a neg as you didn't cave in to them. I guess it's up to you.
