BoS Reward Account

im interested in applying for one of these and getting £5 a month for paying in a balance of £1k. I will not be applying for an overdraft.

can anyone advise if they are hard to get accepted for? i have 2 current accounts elsewhere and no overdrafts (currently working hard to be debt free, overdrafts were first to go!)

my credit ratign is still very low, what are the chances of me being accepted for this account?

If they are slim then i would rather go without the search on my file....

If your credit file is low then they would most likely to decline your application to open a halifax/bank of scotland reward account as they will do a search.

You can have a go at opening the account if you like and see if your application if approved.

Whether you're applying for credit or not, you will still be credit scored as that kind of account can still have credit put on at any time.

    thanks for your replies.

I decided just to go for it as i hadnt had any searches on my file for a while and as i said earlier i was accepted for an A+L account when in a worse state.

I was accepted for the account.
