really not impressed with eon
right to start with we are behind with our bill which is our fault but we called them up last week and they said that we would have to pay £111 pcm but we asked it we could pay £60 per week they were over the moon and sent card and paper work out.
get paper work and notice that they are wanting us to start paying next week for the life of us we cant do this, so we call them up and ask if we can put it off for 2 weeks and snotty woman says no can do and it will go down as a default.
the thing is even though its 2 weeks later they will still be getting more then they asked for a month it really doesnt make sense
best thing on letter as well it says if you find it hard to pay call us up and we will help you to sort it out what a joke

            I don't get it-if you can't pay £111pcm, then how can you afford £60pw, which is £240pcm?
Did you offer them something now/next week (maybe £30)?That might have made them more co-operative about the balance. No free lunch, and no free laptop 0 0

Then just phone up or go via your online account to make a payment now to reduce the debt. You don't need to have any agreement in place to pay something off on a 'one off' basis.
What they want to see is an actual payment. they probably assumed you were just stalling them for another 2 weeks. No free lunch, and no free laptop 0 0

            Hi one-day,
When you first discussed this payment arrangement with us, the agent should have asked you what date you could make the first payment, and if the suggested date posed any issues further negotiations should have been held.
This clearly didn’t happen in this case and I’m sorry you are now been asked to make the first payment immediately.
You can either contact us again and stress that the current proposed date is unacceptable, and advise the agent you speak to that you were never offered a choice or I can investigate this for you.
If you’d like my assistance please email me on the address in my profile, and I’d be more than happy to help with this.
