Can anyone help me? I have broken the screen on my laptop it's only 2 weeks old so I am absolutly gutted!
I got a quote from a company called rowcom.com and it seems ok but as I only found the company on google I wondered if anyone can. Vouch for them being genuine?
Or if anyone can reccommend somewhere for me Fo get it fixed?
Thanks !!!!!

They look ok there's an address and a phone number on the website. Their domain registration details match up and I can't find any negative reviews. However you'd be best off asking about your screen on the Techie Forum. There are a lot of knowledgable people over there and they may be able to show you how to fix it yourself.

Hi Kerry,
I've not heard of them but similar thing happened to me and Screen damage is going to be quite expensive so I'd recommend going into a few places and getting a quote on the cost its likely to be. I went to Comet who charged me like £30 to tell me how much it would be and then guaranteed the repair for 3 months which was handy.0 -
I'd also try looking in your local area for PC repair shops. Not having to ship your laptop away may save you a couple of quid.0

Kerry, try your household insurance policy first.
I damaged the screen on a new laptop about a month after I bought it. It was a long time ago but it was replaced under the household insurance policy costing £950. The laptop itself cost £1400 - this was when laptops were much more expensive than today.0
